Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how the platform works — for requesters and providers.

General

    • What is Imdad?

A marketplace connecting those who need heavy construction machinery with equipment providers in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. You post a request, receive competing offers, and contact unlocks after you select one.

    • Does Imdad take a commission?

No. Two flat fees only: SAR 25 to post a request, and SAR 49 paid by the selected provider to unlock contact. No percentage of the rental, and no handling of rental payments.

    • Who handles the rental contract and payment?

The requester and the provider, directly with each other. Imdad is not a party to the rental agreement.

    • What equipment is on Imdad?

Heavy construction machinery only — excavators, cranes, loaders, and similar. No hand tools and no building materials.

    • Where does Imdad operate?

Saudi Arabia, with coverage across the GCC.

For requesters

    • How do I request a machine?

Post a ticket in the app: one machine type, your details, and your location. Flat SAR 25.

    • How many offers will I get?

Providers within 60 km are notified first; after 5 days your request opens to providers of that machine type nationwide. The number of offers varies by request.

    • What happens after I select an offer?

The provider pays a flat fee to unlock contact. If they don't, you can cancel within 15 minutes and choose another offer.

    • Does my request expire?

No — your ticket stays open until it's resolved.

For providers

    • How do I list my machinery?

Register in the app and upload your machines' papers. Our team reviews and approves them manually.

    • What does it cost to bid?

Nothing. You pay SAR 49 flat only when a requester selects your offer, to unlock contact.

    • Is the fee bigger for longer rentals?

No. The fee is flat regardless of duration or deal size.

App & support

    • Where do I download the app?

From the App Store for iPhone.

    • How do I contact support?

Through the Contact page or the support email.
